Final year prototype

This is the prototype of the project I mentioned earlier
This is my final year project. It has been done with the use of touchless SDK. I have uploaded this video since I need to get it evaluated in order to finish my BSc software engineering degree at university of Westminster.

This has given the user the opportunity of any marker being chosen from day to day used bright colored objects. And that marker will be used as an input to the system but it is not used to control the mouse as in projects done in the past years. The game which has been designed is played by movements of the marker which are retrieved via a web cam. And the system is designed to win against the human user through probability calculations.

Since the system has been designed as a game user’s convenience in, cost and usability factors had to be considered along the way of the development. An enormous amount of changes had to be done to the main idea  to present this tic tac toe game with the touchless technology.
If you have any inquiries about code and stuff pls leave a comment i'l be happy to help you.

my project- final year software engineering

It would be developed with the gesture recognizing technologies as a simulation of a touch screen technology, to play a game. The game that was suggested by the author that would bring out these features is the tic tac tow game. In tic tac tow is done by drowsing basic shapes like circles and crosses. Drawing those kinds of shapes using a pen is easier than drawing them using a mouse. In that case replication of the mouse wouldn’t be the best choice for this project. So the author has decided to let the system identify the gestures of the hand and draw it without replicating the mouse. Designing a game like tic tac toe, that has a kind of an artificial intelligence given by few algorithms to win against a human , will give a new kind of an experience to the user. Normally a tic tac toe game is played by drawing circles and crosses. So the movements of the user will be identified by a normal web cam when playing this game. Another goal of the author is to make the computer the winner of most of the games using above mentioned algorithms. So that the user will have the experience of playing an intelligent touch screen game with a normal CRT monitor.
